We couldn’t have planned our visit to Tenerife better. The past few days it was very windy, it rained and we were even surprised with a hailstorm. There was also snow on the lower mountain peaks and visibility was poor due to Saharan dust. Maybe we imagined something different, but in those circumstances it’s always nice to be in port and not at sea. After we waved goodbye to Jan and the other crew members who were being relieved, we had time to do a few jobs on the ship to do, helped by our Canarian friend Pepe, who always knows where to go.
We are now on our way again. The wind has decreased to force 5 and we are sailing at a nice pace. A number of new guests still have to get used to the movements of the ship, but if the sea calms down a bit and they are on board a little longer, that will be fine. So far it’s going well!
