The low-pressure area that caused so much wind in the Canary Islands is slowly moving south and filling. Because we are also moving south, fast even, doing for us, we remain under the influence of the Low. The wind is between southeast and east and fairly strong. Around force 5, 6 and tonight even 7 Bft. In half wind we are constantly running at 8, 9 or 10 knots, even after taking off a lot of sail. For the mostly inexperienced crew, more sail is not easy to handle and our guests also have difficulty with the sea state that comes with this wind. Last night we had rain and thunderstorms, now the sun is shining and the wind finally seems to decrease. I wish everyone a few quiet days. But so far we are making good progress!
