After two days with almost no wind, we have a good sailable wind from the south. This was just what we needed to sail further west. According to the weather forecast, this southern wind would be there for one day and then turn to the west again. We set all sails to sail as far west as possible before the wind shifted again. And that brought us to the town of Brixham on the English south coast. In the morning we anchored there and after customs and immigration formalities everyone went ashore.
It is now two days later, and the wind is west again. We are motor sailing in the direction of Ile d’Ouessant (the most northwestern point of France) which we have to go around. From there the engine can be turned off and we can sail further south towards the Gulf of Morbihan.
