Pool Party

After a few days of enjoyable sailing, yesterday was a bit calmer. The sky was clear, and the sun was shining brightly. According to our thermometer, it was 35 degrees Celsius. To occasionally escape the scorching sun, we had set up the schooner’s tent. This tent created a delightful shady spot for relaxation. In the afternoon, there was a need for even more cooling off.

There is no better way to cool down than with plenty of water. Since swimming in the ocean was not an option yesterday, we brought the water on deck. After about 20 minutes of tinkering with ropes and sails, a pool suddenly appeared on the deck! We hooked up the fire hose, and in no time, the pool was filled. Enjoying milkshakes and alcohol-free sangria, it turned into a delightful afternoon.
