The ‘Oosterschelde’ has left Punta Arenas. The area around the Straits of Magellan is still quite flat, but now, exactly on International Charles Darwin Day, Charles Darwin’s birthday, we reach the Pacific Ocean and turn into the fjords that make the Chilean west coast so special.
