Shipping company ‘Oosterschelde’ provides optimal safety for every person on board. As guest-crew you are expected to take responsibility regarding your own safety and the safety of others as well. If your physical or mental health is insufficient, you might be at risk during a sailing trip. In case of doubt whether your health hinders a voyage on a sailing and moving ship or not, we advise you to contact your physician first. To prevent misunderstandings please answer the questions below. Please keep in mind that a question answered with 'yes' does not automatically mean you will be refused on board the ship. Please inform the office of the Oosterschelde about any condition and don’t forget to bring your own necessary medication with you.
